The account types below describe the various types and corresponding subtypes that MoneyKit supports and passes through for financial institution accounts.

Please note that the account type has an effect on how balances are reported. The signs for `liability` accounts are reversed: please see theaccount_type response for details. The account type does not, however, affect how transactions are reported.
